Penzu-Simple online journaling! To set up account you will need email address. Journals can be shared with others or set to private.

Realewriter-Use your own pictures to create custom books. Great for classroom or personal use. With the free version, you can only print small books. Can upgrade your account for $40 with just the download or $50 for the download and CD. This upgrade gives you many different printing options. Can share your books via email. Free software must be downloaded.

Voicethread-Transforming media into collaborative spaces with video, voice and text commenting. There is a regular or an educational site. The fee for the educational subscription is $60 per year. With either account your voicethreads can be embedded onto your webpage or other documents. A benefit of the educational account is you can easily create accounts for up to 100 students (without an email address).

Voki-Create your personal avatar to give directions or have your students create them to explain procedures, partake in interviews, and be creative! Email registration is necessary.

Stripgenerator-Very basic comic strip creator.
